AHRMM23 Call For Presentations

AHRMM invites health care supply chain professionals from around the world to submit presentation abstracts for our annual conference - AHRMM23 - August 6-9, in Orlando, Florida. AHRMM23 Conference will feature a wide range of interactive education sessions and networking opportunities to connect with other experts as well as up-and-coming leaders in the field.

Covering the latest health care supply chain trends and news, this conference is the leading event for the field, offering engaging education, tools and resources to help advance a more connected, resilient and efficient health care supply chain.

The call for presentations is now closed. Submitters will be notified of their status of the abstract by February 6, 2023.

 

AHRMM23 Tracks

1.    Clinically Integrated Supply Chain
Gain valuable insights into the supply chain best practices in strategic sourcing, as well as innovative quality initiatives to improve outcomes. Enhance skills using tools in both value analysis and in enabling technology to connect to the clinical enterprise, as well as utilizing the item master as a source of truth and revenue driver. Learn practical tools to excel in day-to-day cost management and physician and clinician collaboration strategies. This track emphasizes key areas of clinical resource management and value analysis as it relates to the health care supply chain.


2.    Professional Development & Leadership
Realize your full potential with new skills specific to supply chain management and boost your career with the right professional development training. Areas of focus include mentoring, career development, interview preparation, resume writing, and personal branding. Also includes workshops on creating dashboards and insights into new AHRMM content development for education and credentialing.


3.    Data & Analytics
Create data-informed decisions for your organization. As the health care landscape continues to rapidly change, the need for data and a strong analytics team is highly important. Also important is the utilization of standardized key metrics to manage performance, utilization, and outcomes. 


4.    Technology & Informatics
Utilize technology within your organization. Technology continues to advance rapidly, but it is necessary to ensure that these advancements will augment and improve existing processes and prove beneficial for your specific team and/or organization. Supply chain professionals will share strategies for implementing new technologies as well as case studies on the impact these changes can have with respect to efficiency, productivity, and financials.


5.    Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG)
Consider the impact health care organizations have upon their communities. In this track, professionals consider the importance of sustainability in the supply chain in order to maintain preparedness. Also relevant are the links between food insecurity and an unstable supply chain and the importance of diversity and inclusion. Supply chain professionals will consider ways to advance economic inclusion within their communities to improve the economic and social health of our society.


6.    Data Standards adoption including the Unique Device Identifier (UDI)
Data standards ensure a common language and approach to sharing, storing, and interpreting information. This track will focus on the impact data standards and the UDI can bring to the health care field, as well adoption and implementation strategies. The UDI brings tremendous possibilities for health care supply chain transparency and patient safety, but can be a big change for many. Health care professionals will share their challenges, solutions, and success in streamlining their clinical and supply operations.
